March/April Workshops

Lakespeare are running the Verse Nerd workshop series again! After launching only a year ago, we have positively impacted over 50 Canberrans and brought them a way to access the language with ease and confidence. If you are auditioning for drama school or looking to skill up on the Bard then these workshops are an absolute must. There’s only a handful of people in Australia who can teach like this and with small focussed groups for the intensives make sure you book now.
If you already did this series then why not check out the Technique Top afternoon? Or if you are worried about having to perform in front of others then the auditing tickets are the perfect fit.

2019/20 SEASON

2019/20 Season Events

As part of our committment to investing in local talent, the last year has featured multiple Shakespeare verse workshops where our creatives teach the techniques used in the UK drama schools.

Our free summer season of FREE Shakespeare will continue with A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We are returning to Tuggeranong Town Park, Glebe Park and the Patrick White Lawns.  Thanks to Kambri @ ANU we will also be performing in the new campus amphitheatre.

Complementing Shakespeare by the Lakes will be ticketed shows Shakepeare by the Vines and Shakespeare Down the Pub.

Update: Our Winter season show which was intended to take place in June/July has been deferred. A further update will be provided in June.
